Privacy Policy

CropNotes works without a user account. The operations, inventory, crops, costs and photos you add are stored locally, on your device.

CropNotes does not operate a server that stores your farm records. Data entered in the app is not sent to us and is not centralized in a CropNotes database.

If you choose to use the weather forecast based on your current location, the app requests location access solely for this purpose. You can always choose to manually enter a locality instead, without granting location access.

For locality lookup we use the Nominatim / OpenStreetMap service. For weather forecasts we use the MET Norway service. Both services receive only the data strictly necessary to return the requested result (for example coordinates or a locality name) and are not used by CropNotes for tracking or profiling.

Any backup or PDF export of your data is created exclusively at your explicit request, through a direct action in the app. CropNotes does not automatically create copies of your data and does not transmit them to any external service without your action.

CropNotes does not display advertising, does not use behavioral analytics tools, and does not track user activity across other apps or websites.

You can delete, at any time and individually, field operations, stock products or other records directly from the app. Uninstalling the app removes the data stored locally on the device, except for any backups or exports you have separately saved outside the app.

The weather forecasts displayed come from a third-party provider (MET Norway) and are informational in nature. CropNotes cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of this data and is not responsible for agricultural decisions made solely based on the displayed forecast.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter in the app (areas, quantities, costs) and for keeping your device and any backups or exports you create safe.

This policy is governed by Romanian law and, where applicable, European data protection legislation. You have the rights provided by law regarding your personal data, including the right to request further information by writing to cropnotes@gmail.com. Nothing in this policy limits the mandatory rights that the law grants you as a consumer.
